chaumes the stubble

i got this cheese from my local trader joe's ... i never had this one before so i gave it a shot. it doesn't have a distinctive taste like some cheese would have. it is salty but on the lighter side and it has a light sharp taste of a swiss cheese, but other than that it is much of a light salty cheese. the body is not as full as a brie but on the soft side. it has an orange rind and not really crusted. i just ate it along with cheese.

i personally didn't like this cheese, but my kids like it cause it doesn't have the overpowering taste. so good for kids.

it is pronounce "shohm" in french which literally means "stubble." Birth place of this cheese is from the southwest of france.

so i would say pair it with a dessert wine. i do not know if it will work well with dry white wines ... but give it a shot and let me know.
